2.0 out of 5 stars Does not work properly, 29 Oct 2013

Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Officially Licensed Wireless Sensor Bar (Nintendo Wii U) (Accessory)
We bought this for Our Wii U and I am not happy With it at all. It is sometimes useless as we can not get it to respond in some of the wii and wii U games. My son gets so frustrated that he has given up playing some games. We are thinking of selling the Wii U and getting a Playstation instead. The problem is that the old Wii Remotes don't respond, and he can not get to pick alternatives on the screen. An example is Rabbids Land, a Wii U game that he can't play at all.
If someone can give me the name of a good Wii U sensorbar, that Works,I would be a happy mum.
To be fair, it does work on some other games, where the trouble is just to calibrate the Remotes and start up the game.

Get your self a old Wii sensor bar for the old Wiis, USB is best! :-)
How it works is LEDs light up in the bar and the remote picks it up and sends info to the Wii by bluetooth.
So make sure you have a lot of light in the room when playing.

One more thing is your remote a Nintendo one or a clone as the clones can be funny when playing games, I fined on mine that sometimes it will cut out when playing.
So i have to reconnect it. What's a pain!

One more thing you can try on your Wii remote is in Wii U settings under Sensor bar, you can turn up the remote so it picks up the Sensor bar better. I put mine on all way so it's picking up fast!
