Couldn't take ALL of it seriously,
This review is from: A Contented House with Twins (Paperback)I was really looking forward to reading this book as I had heard lots of positive things about Gina Fords principles. And for the most part, I think her theories are sound, and will be giving them a try. However I found some things to be contradictory and confusing (ie The Breastfeeding schedule)and a bit scary. As for Alice Beers contribution to the book, I appreciated her sentiment and humerous writing, but I just couldn't take her seriously, as I couldn't relate to her in the slightest. With a night nurse, daytime nanny and a playpen so big I doubt would fit into a single room of a normal house, and still she had it hard, makes us less fortunate question whether we'll be able to cope at all. Well....of course we will, but you get my point.
I think that had the book been co-written by a cross range of twin parents, I would have found it more usefull.
