Bad sound quality,
This review is from: Mozart: Cosi Fan Tutte [DVD] (DVD)
This production is very traditional; costumes and staging are of the 18th century, so there is no modernization - for those who love that. But the picture and especially the sound quality are very bad. It is simply a bad recording, even for the year 1989. This is very annoying, as the singers are not bad at all. I also find the superimposition of Ricardo Muti directing the orchestra very irritating, especially at the end of the opera. It hides the singers and is useless for the show. There are English subtitles only. The full Italian libretto is included in the booklet.
