This review is from: Back to the Future Trilogy [Blu-ray] [Region Free] (Blu-ray)
I don't consider Amazon the place for film reviews, save to say I am a fan of these films and would rate them highly. In terms of the picture quality, this is excellent. A real step-up from DVD. The sound is also a vast improvement, as many HD soundtracks are. In terms of the content I would give 5 stars.
The drawback I have encountered is the functionality. Although all 3 discs work they are amongst the slowest loading/functioning discs I own, and I own a few. Whilst bluray disc response times cannot and should not be compared to DVD these are slow.
They are slow to initially load, slow to get to the menu stage and slow to play. My experience has been that if I make the mistake of pausing long enough for the universal screensaver to kick in I cannot just press play to resume, I must go to the menu and then select play. Although the film restarts from the pause point (unlike some others which start at the beginning) it is just slow and can be frustrating.
These problems have been encountered on both my PS3 and panasonic bluray players.
I would not say that the discs should not be bought but just be forewarned. 5 stars for content, knock off 2 stars for functionality.

Try inserting them into your Blu Ray player instead then. :-P
