This review is from: Handbook of Model Rocketry (Kindle Edition)
A well written and well rounded introduction to model rocketry. Mr Stine covers all the basic topics to an appropriate depth for the average amateur model rocketeer. The focus is on building rockets that work, the main features of a typical rocket, the important physical principles that affect rocket stability and the huge variety of rocket types that you might find yourself bulding in the years to come.
The 4 stars is because the book can be a little too hand-wavy and wooly at times but I'm a physicist by day so that may just be me. If you are hungry for more details, more theory, moar physics, moar maths then check out "Topics in advanced model rocketry".
I wish my parents bought me this book when I was younger instead of a PC!
