This review is from: How to Shit Around the World: The Art of Staying Clean and Healthy While Traveling (Travelers' Tales Guides) (Kindle Edition)
I am finding this book quite trying to read on the kindle. Many anecdotes are placed in such a way they split the text mid sentence, sometimes you have two pages of anecdote before the last few words of the sentence. This is more trying on the Kindle than in a book, as you only see one page at a time.
The other irritating thing is that some phrases are repeated, I assume this is an error caused when moving it onto the Kindle.
The Kindle edition is much cheaper than the book, but is still the most expensive Kindle book I have bought. If I had a book with these print errors I would send it back as faulty. The book reviews are so glowing I can only assume that it has been carelessly ported.
The content is interesting, funny and useful, but repetitive. (Or is more repeated than short phrases?)

Thanks so much for the feedback but I'm sorry to hear that the new kindle version my book is trying to read. I have fed this back to the California-based publisher and they are looking into it. Meanwhile, it is great that despite the layout, it has still amused and informed you.

Have the problems with the Kindle version been rectified? This is the only thing putting me off buying this book!

Thanks... the publisher (in California) is still looking into it so I should hold fire for the moment. Be reassured that the newly updated hard copy is fine as far as I know though, although I am yet to see one myself since it is hot off the press just now. And although Amazon shows this as the 2006 edition I have thoroughly updated it and added a couple more stories.

The publisher tells me that they have now sorted the formatting problem and the corrected version should be ready for you.

Thank you for reading my review and acting on it. I shall see if Amazon will let me "upgrade" as its a book I would like to read again.
