Very useful saw,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Bosch KEO Cordless Multisaw (DIY & Tools)
I used this to cut large branches from a pear, apple and berry tree. What I really like about it is its small blade allows me to cut very close to the trunk , so I don't have an ugly stump jutting out. Trying to do the same with a manual saw is much more difficult and results in a lot of scuff marks and additional damage to nearby branches etc.
I don't bother with the branch holder and after use grease the blade and piston with WD40 after cleaning both. Only criticism I have is the 10.8V Li-Ion battery doesn't last that long and it would be great if Bosch could make this part of their 'Power4All 18V' range. Maximum cut was a 9cm branch from a tough Apple tree. Took some time sawing back and forth and used up ~2/3 of the charge.
Also bought the 5-pack of blades for it and used the metal blade to cut off the top of a shelf, really impressed with how easy and clean the cutting was - I marked and then put down a line of lubricating oil. Held in 2 small vices. You can also consider the Bosch Blue Mini Sabre Saw - the GSA 10.8 as it has the 10.8V battery packs, though more expensive.
