The last Stand,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: IV (Audio CD)
Well here it is, the last stand for a band I once thought I would buy anything they produced without having to first hear the album, Steven Wilson is that good, but alas, this is not a Steven Wilson album, infact his imput is pretty minimal, and it shows. This is an Aviv Geffen album disguised as a Blackfield album, and perhaps the last I will ever purchace. On `The Raven that Refused to Sing` Steven Wilson solo album there is a track which sounds like the old Blackfield, so I guess thats were all the talent headed and so will I. Goodbye Blackfield, was fun, but......

thanks for this honest review .when I read a couple of years ago that SW would be passing the ownership of blackfield to AG I was worried that this decline would occur. it did with the last album<I own the first 2 but having heard a few songs from welcome I realised that blackfield were no longer on my radar.
a shame really but considering Sws solo career taking off esp after the raven ,well something had to give and both PT and blackfield are the ones to suffer !
so thanks for saving me some cash here and I just hope that PT return to their faithful fans sooner rather than later. but with another solo SW album due next year then the tour etc etc etc will we ever get to see PT again ?
