This review is from: The Dark (Guardians of Time Trilogy) (Paperback)
This has to be one of the worst books that I ever have read. The prose is poor, ungrammatical and stilted. The description of places is lazy and cliche ridden. The number of times people 'shrug' their shoulders (or more often just one shoulder) or 'flick' their eyes would make an osteopath or an optician wince. The story itself is confusing and unengaging - the characters are two dimensional and poorly drawn. On a number of occasions I laughed out loud at some of the banal responses of characters that were supposed to be 'gods'. The whole thing reeks of amateurism. I am surprised that a big publisher like Bloomsbury ever let this trilogy through their doors.

Michael D. Conroy says:
just a question, are you reviewing this book, because if you are you're completely and utterly unhinged, if not could you change this, you're giving this book a bad review
