1.0 out of 5 stars The worst thing I ever bought, 8 Sept. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Samsung B1930N 18.5" Widescreen LCD Monitor (High Gloss Black) (Electronics)
This is one of the most absurd products I have ever bought ... the stand is fixed, with the monitor tilted FORWARDS, so that it is impossible to view comfortably when placed on a desk at normal working height. It is fine as a toy, for games and for watching videos, but as a serious piece of kit for professional use, it is a complete waste of money.

Although it is difficult to find, once the screw in the base of the stand is tightened, you can then tilt the monitor to your desired position!

No, you can't. I saw the same monitor in a shop, with a tiltable stand, same product type number, but different from the one I had. The manufacturers are thus producing different versions of this same monitor, without giving any clue as to which is which on the packaging.

I too thought that this monitor did not tilt. But have a look at this vid for tilt instructions http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_NnauizvzQ. It is a different model but works exactly the same. Hold on to the base and apply pressure from the top of the monitor. If you see the Youtube comments you will realise that you and I are not alone in thinking it didn't tilt. Hope this helps you and other buyers
