The book for London's unemployed millionaires,
This review is from: A Year in London: Two Things to Do Every Day of the Year (Paperback)
What a fun idea – the book that gives you a plan of action for any day you run out of ideas. Make sure you don't take the premise of the book too seriously though as by my reckoning it would set you back somewhere approaching £20,000 to use the book every day.
But if you can control your curiosity, and just dip into it when you actually don't have any idea what to do on any particular day, then you will be rewarded by some well researched and thought through suggestions. Each pair generally consists of an event or place to visit, with a suggested culinary adventure nearby, so no need to take a book or sandwiches then.
And the book is a sensible size format to give the photography some space, and the print is legible (for a change). What more could you want?, well, apart from a lot of money and time to spare!
