cooking for kids,
This review is from: The Gluten-free Cookbook for Kids (Paperback)
My 9 year old has just been diagnosed and this is the first book that I have bought and it has been a great help. Some of the recipes are a bit obvious and some were a little disappointing ( the polenta chips) but on the whole it has helped me bake things as treats , the cookies and cakes are delicious and you wouldn't know they were gluten free. The whole family liked the pizza as well. It is definitely a good book to have in the cupboard.

Hi Pealady, sorry to hear you were dissappointed with the polenta chips. This is my all time favourite recipe in the book so just wanted to check what went wrong. Did you have your oven nice and hot? These chips really require a hot oven so that they cook up nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Did it go lumpy? This can happen and can be very annoying- but you can avoid this if you make sure to pour the polenta in from a decent height, whilst stirring.
