I found these a little awkward to put on, and you should never try to wear them on tiled floors (you may well skate!) but, overall, they do a good job of providing traction on icy surfaces and are acceptable on dry pavements.

Mr Hudson makes a very valuable point about not wearing ICEtrekkers Diamond Grip Ice Grips / Ice Cleats (M) UK 5.5-8 EU 39-42 indoors, especially on hard surfaces such as tile, marble and granite. This applies to most ice grip products which have definate points of traction created by studs or spikes. The users weight is suspended on the points and as they have nothing to dig into, as tile marble and granite are much harder than ice - create a 'skating' effect - just simple physics! At ICEGRIPPER we have tested over 100 different types of ice grips and can recommend some that you can wear indoors, but as with most things, there's always a compromise.
