A quick, well-written read,
This review is from: Call Me Elizabeth (Paperback)
A quick, non-taxing, purportedly true story of a mother of six turned escort to support her family when faced with mounting debts. It's pacy and well written, but comes across as sanitised, wiped clean, not really reflecting the life of the main protagonist.
She travels from innocence and naivety to an accomplished mask of professionalism while sustaining the ideal mother role. If she really did what she writes about, she has my respect, but the book certainly does not reflect this well.
