Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
When I first opened this case I wondered how on earth you put the ipad in to make it work. Which way round does it go, how do you get it to stand at an angle? Nothing on first look made any sense. The pictures on the cover it came in gave few clues.
After a little head scratching I realised the Velcro strip, which was set in a forward position, actually has to be bent backwards to work. It did not look as obvious as it seems on writing this.
I put the Velcro strip on the base, I notice another reviewer put it on the top, maybe I got that wrong, probably it doesn't matter. You can then select the desired angle of elevation for the ipad.
You can lay it flat and pull the zip around it if you don't want it angled.
It is a fairly sturdy case but the ipad does shoogle about in it if you, yourself, shift about a bit. However, I thought the Velcro was quite vicious and would hold it all in place.
You need to leave it open to charge the ipad and you wont be able to take pictures with it on.
This is a case, not a cover so in comparison it is a bit big and ungainly. However, I think if it was for the protection of an ipad packed in a suitcase I would be happy enough with it, and if that is the sort of thing you are looking for you will be too.
Readers, I went back to my old cover.
