I just love Trisha Ashley books, but unfortunately this was a big huge disappointment.
I didn't realise that it was first published in 2000, but this issue was reprinted in 2013. It seems very old-fashioned, even for 2000 (the year in which it was set). The main character is a bit of a prude and a complete wet blanket.
Unfortunately the plot was so obvious, and the main character was very slow to catch onto what was clearly glaring in her face! It is written as some kind of spoken journal by the main character, and is literally a list of the boring goings on in her life!
I gave it a chance and read the whole book, but I couldn't wait to finish it.
