A near-death experience turned into fine quizzical verse,

This review is from: The Man Made of Rain (Paperback)
BK's visions of 'a man made of rain' move his brilliant poetic career forward into unexpected territory - result of major heart problems and massive surgery. What comes from this is a series of poems that still speak with his wit and wide range of reference and move with authority across the reflections that came with that time hovering between death and life. Also a very good tape from the publisher of BK reading his own poems. If you respond to the reverence/irreverence of the Dublin voice and experience, try this poet!
