Complete and utter chick **it,
This review is from: The Husband's Secret (Paperback)
I cannot believe how Amazon reviewers have let me down on this absolute load of tosh. One reviewer actually wrote about what a shock it was to finally discover the contents of The Letter. Oh perleeeeze! As soon as we read Rachel's story there is only one possible thing in that letter......isn't there?
The characters are one dimensional and all seem so similar to each other I had to keep reminding myself who they were. (Apart from the male characters, that is, who have zero dimensions - I can't remember anything about any of them.) Oh, and are we supposed to hate Cecelia? I suspect not, but there wasn't one redeeming characteristic to save her from the schadenfraude I felt when something bad happened to her. Her 1970s candy floss American film perfect life had me screaming "Shut up!" whenever she appeared - so unbelievable.
I've given up after 200 or so pages as I just don't care. There is nothing to like about this book - I just read the last page and am so grateful I didn't spend another moment of my life on it as the ending is just such a waste of time. Honestly, this feels like it's been written by a Peruvian antelope.......actually, apologies to Peruvian antelopes as that's unfair.
Why so many rave reviews is inexplicable. Complete and utter rubbish. Don't waste your time or money.

Completely agree with your review, and I am amazed there are not more 1 star reviews for what is one of the worst books I have read. The hype is ludicrous; the content is drivel.

Totally agree. I thought I must have missed something - the reviews were so good. It was just an empty read.

Couldn't agree more - one of the worst and blandest books I've ever read.

Fair enough, but no need to be nasty
