Amazing value for a Braun Oral B toothbrush. Why pay more?,
This review is from: Oral-B Pro 600 CrossAction Electric Rechargeable Toothbrush Powered by Braun (Personal Care)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I have used Braun Oral-B toothbrushes for many years. About every 3 years, they stop holding their charge, needing charging every 3 days.
I often have two of them and keep one on charge while using the other. Currently I have a model 1000 and then Amazon sent me this 600 to review.
The only difference I can find between the two models is the 1000 has a red LED on the top that comes on if the handle thinks you are applying too much pressure.
Once turned on the PRO 600 runs just like the 1000, pulsing every 30 seconds to remind me to move to a different quadrant in my mouth until at 2 minutes it pulses several times to say 2 minutes are up.
I have had the over pressure light on the 1000 handle come on once or twice but otherwise they clean the same. Which begs the question - is the 1000 worth paying twice what the 600 costs? I think not. The PRO 600 is amazing value at this price.
If you want one of the pricier models, wait until nearer Christmas. Every year, Amazon and Boots et al drop the prices of most Oral-B toothbrushes abouty 40% to 50%

Thanks for the informative review. I was wondering whether it was worth paying extra for the higher-spec models and you have helped me decide (I'm going for the 600).
