This review is from: Bleach 26 (Paperback)Volume 26.
As always the characters are very original, as is the art style not typical of the large eyes & tiny noses anime/manga that is frequently produced. That in itself is not worth buying, what really pulls it all together is the interesting storyline that is woven together that keeps making you ask "what is going to happen next". Kudos to the translators for doing such a great job keeping the dialouge flowing naturally and consistently.
In comparison to the anime the manga is paced far better as it goes accordingly to the author Tite Kubo whereas with the anime only a certain amount of story can be fitted in to the 20 minutes that is allowed and so certain scenes feel drawn out. Also due to younger viewers watching certain scenes are also censored like when smeone gets cut in the anime they may just fall down, whereas in the manga they would spew blood from the wound.
I won't say anything about the story because I don't want to spoil anything, but everything in here is the same quality as the rest of the volumes.
The only problem I have with the manga is the how far behind it is with the Japanese manga which is currently on volume 38.
