1.0 out of 5 stars More of the same, just in time for Christmas, 30 Oct 2010
This review is from: The Hairy Bikers' 12 Days of Christmas: Fabulous Festive Recipes to Feed Your Family and Friends (Hardcover)
Apt that Christmas and turkey go hand in hand - you have two turkeys here selling their latest offering; just in time for the festive season.

It's a lazy Christmas present, give something with a bit of thought instead.

Have you read the book and do you have a contructive review? or are you advising on a Christmas gift list?

(and for your information my mum asks specificly for cook books- the look on her face when she doesn't get one -disappointed- is gutting to see. After several years or trying everything but a cook book, I caved in. She talks endlessly to others about the books she has, its a really big thing for her. You cannot just assume its a lazy gift for everyone, maybe for you but theres no need to generalise and assume.- Now that is lazy!)

Isn't the whole point of a book review to comment on the content and quality and not whether you consider the authors to be legit or not??? I love watching these two guys on tele and reading their books and it seems many others do too! Lets face it Hornpipe, your accusations are unfounded. May the Hairy Bikers continue:)

If you don't like the Hairy Bikers, then why on earth have you bought the book (assuming you have actually bought it, not just looked on a bookshop shelf before posting your "review"). Also, where is your evidence that it wasn't written by the Bikers?

You seem to make a habbit of going on Amazon, looking up 'Hairy Bikers' and giving them bad reviews. Odd thing is, you never buy the books and just have a HUGE problem with the bikers! And a major chip on your shoulder too!

Truth be told it sounds like sour grapes...
