This review is from: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch - (White, Wi-Fi) (Personal Computers)
I've used my families Samsung Tab 2 7" which I thought was really good. I was looking at the ipad mini the screen res looked very bad against the Tab 3, I've used mine for not long but am impressed with it, some people say it doesn't work with iplayer etc, well mine does I have iplayer/netflix/youtube picture etc
looks fantastic. This Tab 3 runs fast with no lag at all, I've played alot of the games in high graphic detail and the ones I have tried work fine with no problems.
The only small problem I have with it is the memory card it only moves around 10% if that of the apps from the internal memory to the sd card, this problem is only seem to be on the Tab 2/Tab 3 not sure about the other samsung tabs. Other than that I love using the Tab 3 the build wise it's looks very good doesn't look cheap and nasty like I've seen with most of the tablets. The good thing with having upto 64gb sd card is you can put movies/music/audiobooks/photos etc as that's what I have on my sd card thats something you can't do with a ipad unless you buy the 128gb model.
Best way to add music etc to the sd card is take it out and put it into a card reader, copy from computer to sd card, then once back in tablet, make folders on sd card then copy files to which folder it's going in, then delete the original files. To watch movies I use a app called MX Player from play store, not only does it boost the brightness level higher but it boosts the sound up alot higher than the tablet itself.
So for the Samsung Tab 3 8.0 I give it 9/10

Mrs L Norman says:
Are you viewing bbc iplayer as an app or via the web, and can you get itv player as well? These are the things that have been putting me off buying one and if there is a way round it I will buy was asap.

Hi, I use the bbc iplayer app, I've also tried the itv app player it works fine but it has adverts before your program will start. As for the bbc iplayer app picture/sound is excellent no lag etc.
