5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for kids, not so much for Mums and Dads!, 25 Aug. 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Bandai - Catcha Beast Assortment (Toy)
My son LOVED it, but it burbles and beeps all the time and I can't work out how to switch it off! However it was his best birthday present and I have achieved Best Mummy Status as a result so small price to pay!

S. Middleton says:
My son reset his and it developed the same problem (at least I assume so based on your description - it seems that the "beasts" are there but you can't actually catch them). It was a complete mystery and I was about to write it off as broken when I decided to read the instruction leaflet myself (my son had read it and had appeared to understand it fully) and realised he had not been turning a full 360 degrees when calibrating the device. Obviously as an 8 year old he's not very familiar with angles so he didn't understand the instruction to turn 360 degrees! When we recalibrated it the problem was solved and he was able to catch beasts again. So double check the instructions yourself and ensure it has been calibrated properly (*exactly* as described in the instruction leaflet) as I suspect that is the root of your problem!
