WORKS WITH IPHONE 4,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Belkin Pro Series Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Extension Cable 1.8m (Personal Computers)Finally I've found a USB extension cable that works with the IPhone 4 whilst Charging and Syncing. I tried other brand cables and the iphone kept rejecting them saying that it was either not compatible or would just cause the phone to crash. I have fully tested this Belkin cable and would 100% recommend this to anyone, Especially if you have an IPhone 4.

Did you find this slowed down the charging time of your iphone? Have, , like you, tried a few different usb cables but they all seem to slow down charging times a LOT

I've since switched from using an iPhone and now use a Galaxy S3 and yes I have definitely noticed a big change in charge time. The original sync/charge cable that came with my Samsung takes around two and a half hours to fully charge my device but with the Belkin extension added it takes well over four hours.
Maybe it has something to do with signal/current loss in relation to how long the extension lead is combined with the original charge lead. I have heard somewhere that USB cables over 3m can suffer from data lag but I'm not sure how much this would affect charging current?
It may very well be the resistance caused by longer cable lengths and/or daisy chaining them that might be giving the device an inaccurate voltage/current reading in turn causing the device to charge at a slower rate.
Hope this helps.
