finally tom mcrae returns with his third helping, still yearning for love and providing us with a forsight into his deepest darkest thoughts. however once again this album leaves critics and music lovers wondering how this guy is not regarded as a national treasure. but lets face it its probably best.
the album starts as any mcrae album starts with one of it strongest tracks. and i am sure that many a student will be thinking that " a song for the restless" was written for them. other highlights on the album include humming bird, girl who falls down the stairs which is calling out for radio play and a single release, silent boulevard and boarder song! not forgetting probably the best and most haunting song vampire heart. Although not as dark as his previous albums. The album is morse sparse than previous outings, and the clean acoustic production has led to an album which could widen tom's fan base and appeal. some fans may have wanted another "just like blood" but that could never of happened. in short this will still leaves you with a tear in your eye and wanting more.
