A truly outstanding introduction to the subject!,
This review is from: Introduction to Electromagnetism (Essential Electronics) (Paperback)
Unquestionably the best introduction to this subject that I have ever come across.
Despite being a thin volume that looks like a school book, it provides a firm undergrad-level grounding in the fundamentals of electric and magnetic field theory, though it does NOT go as far as Maxwell's equations.
Unlike many similar books, it does not simply throw maths at you. Instead it takes every derivation step-by-step, with intuitive explanations, even for the calculus! Each section finishes with a problem and worked solution.
Very well presented and laid out, dense with easy-to-read diagrams, it is like a breath of fresh air.
I first found this book in my university library, and learnt more from this book alone than from my undergrad electromegnetics course! It was so good I bought my own copy. It is expensive, but worth it!

Thanks for the review. Does the book have the answers to the problems?
