1.0 out of 5 stars Greatest Hits after only 4 Albums = Total Joke!!!!!, 18 Nov 2013
This review is from: Goodbye - The Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
Don't get me wrong, i think JLS are the most over-produced Band i have ever heard.
Everything is done using Dubs and Overdubs with Synthesisers which you get on nearly every single Ministry of Sound or Club Ibiza Compilation
and are all smiles,six-packs,white teeth and FAKE!!!! to the point that you want to pull your hair out everytime they come on the radio.
What gets me is that they have released only 4 albums of Electronic Tosh and since One Direction have come on the scene and have stolen there mantal have decided to release a Greatest Hits compilation as they have made there money (Good Luck To Them!!!)and are trying to cash in while they can before the new breed come along from this years X Factor eg: Rough Copy, who will no doubt be following the same route as JLS and so on and so on.
It's seems all the Donkey work is done by the Studio Guys and all JLS do is put the vocals on after they have come back from having their Facials, Waxes and having there Teeth Whitened.
Complete MANUFACTURED RUBBISH!!! is what i call all this.
From the first track to the last it is all the same old, same old ,same old!!!!
Thank God!!! I love Rock Music compared to this talentless Rubbish!!!!
Some Bands release a GH Package after maybe 8 or 9 Albums but NEVER!! after 4 and some whose careers are still going are yet to still release one.
Buy this if you love JLS or if you have the previous 4 then treat it as a Box Collection but DON'T LET THEM RIP YOU OFF!!!!.
If this is Goodbye!!! for them then it won't be long before we start seeing members of this group appearing on reality programmes to try and rake some more income out of their very short forgotten career into obsurity!!!!

A. Collinson says:
Its quite normal for greatest hits to be released after 3 to 5 albums. Examples include p!nk and Queen. You may not like any of these but p!nk was and still is in her prime as a popular artist as were Queen when they released their greatest hits. You may dislike Jls ans each to their own, but its clear your intentions why you posted this review and also state that "NOBODY releases greatest hits after 4 albums". Complete rubbish as there are many examples of this happening even when still popular and current. JLS are splitting so its quite normal to release a final greatest hits gor the fans.

What are you on about Mr Collinson, QUEEN released their Greatest Hits after 9 Albums
eg, Queen I
Queen II
Sheer Heart Attack
Night at the Opera
Day at the Races
News of the World
Jazz
The Game
Flash Soundtrack

so how the hell is that 5 Albums and also Queen can sell out Football Stadiums in their prime all over the World and are one of the Biggest Ever Names in Rock and will never be another band like them.
JLS is just your run of the mill teeny bop crush manufactured rubbish and are not even in the same league.
PINK! i add OK did release a Greatest Hits package after a few albums but she is much more talented than this bunch of poseurs who again are not in the same league.

Mamakooka says:
You look a little silly buying an album of a band you clearly hate! AND since most fans are little girls, analysing their musical ability/content seems a bit pointless.

I agree with you there Mamakooka , I was silly buying it but it was for my wife!!!!!!! but I can still give it my own review as I have had to listen to it in the car every morning and is the only way I can let off steam as it is driving me Nuts!!! and my Judas Priest CD is in the Glove Compartment every time my wife decides to Drive.
Really weird as JLS were on X Factor tonight with all leather Studs and Jackets so maybe they read my review and decided to steal Judas Priests image for the Night!!!!
