I very much enjoyed the first book in this series, Missing, and had high hopes for the second. It did not disappoint.
I have been consistently impressed with the author's ability to create and follow through with a wide range of characters and romantic interests - it's difficult to create a cast this big and have them all feel like real people, but this is almost an object lesson in how to do so.
I hugely enjoyed Frannie and Luke's burgeoning relationship, and it was also interesting to see how the story threads were continued and what new clues we were given.
It's refreshing to read fiction that is unashamedly Christian without being painfully saccharine and/or written for message to the detriment of story. None of Gray's characters make any apologies for their faith, but neither is it shoved down the reader's throat. I would happily loan this to anyone without fearing I would cause offense.
Overall this left me very satisfied and eager to read "Found", the final book of the trilogy, and also in no doubt that Ms Gray is one to watch.
