1.0 out of 5 stars Who gave this 5 out of 5...?, 14 May 2009
This review is from: Battlefield Earth (Mass Market Paperback)
This is perhaps the worst book I have ever read. Ever. A the time of reading I did not know who old L. Ron was and hadn't heard of Scientology so I'm not having a go at that. The book is just bad. Calling the charactors 2-d is an insult to other far better developed 2-d charactors out there. The main man is called 'good-boy'for christ sake.
The whole thing was laughable with huge cliches dominating the story and... uh i could go on and on but you get the idea. buy it if you want a laugh but be prepared as he drew it out over a thousand pages...

This Wilf guy must be a dedicated Scientologist going around making snide comments about the one-star reviews. He did the same thing to my review, and always attacks on the basis that you haven't read the review. In other words, he makes it personal, rather than taking up the points you mention in your review. Typical cult tactics.

i read the book... there are not enough words in the English language to describe this tripe....so why bother trying to go "on and on" its just a waste of time.
