Lightning stikes again for Koontz,
This review is from: Lightning (Paperback)
Lightning is one of Koontz's best books. His previous book, Watchers, was his most popular book ever so it was going to be hard to follow but Koontz did a good job with Lightning. The book is really a novel of two halves, the first half about Laura's life between her birth and her early thirties (yes, its set over a long time period but it certainly doesnt drag as it is written about the most frightening/important parts of her life which are all relevant to the story). Unfortunatly, I can't really say what the second half of the story is about without spoiling a plot twist about halfway through the book, but it is very exiting.
I think that the charactors in the book were very well developed, they had their own personalities and Thelma in particular was very funny.
I would recomend this book to fans of Koontz or of the thriller genre.
