Informative, compulsive but flawed,
This review is from: The Squeeze: Oil, Money and Greed in the 21st Century (Hardcover)
I am part way through this book and am really enjoying it. It is extremely accessible and informative and is a very easy read. It appears to be very well researched. The only downside is that it is poorly edited and contains quite a lot of errors that get more and more annoying as the book progresses. I would recommend this to anyone interested in understanding, at a high level, the recent history of Big Oil.

Generally agree with you since I've been reading it whenever I have had a few minutes over the past week. I know someone who has worked in the oil industry for over 15 years who browsed through my copy when I told them what I was currently reading and they instantly identified a handful of issues. I think it's a good read for getting an overview of the industry and how it has evolved but like any book providing insights into an industry written by someone from outside the industry you need to come to your own conclusions on some of the more sensitive areas.
