This review is from: Calculated Industries Schedule Calc Day/Date/Time Calculator 9430 (DIY & Tools)The only decent Schedule calculator, as the Time Master II is restricted to hours, minutes and seconds (not Days, Weeks, Months, years). This is basically a better Time Master II (although it took me a while to find this out on-line, and then only by viewing a pdf comparison chart by Calculated Industries hidden at the back of an instruction manual).
Had to import from Amazon US (total including Duty was twice the price) as could not obtain in the UK ('Currently unavailable.'). I doubt it will come into stock here, but you might be lucky.
Perfect for calculating/estimating profits over a time period, especially with PPC/Internet revenues. I can quickly estimate potential revenue based upon current revenue for specific time periods. I can also see delta against overall targets.
Annoying quirks are the inability to convert time in units (i.e. pure years/months/weeks/days/hours/minutes/seconds) to an integer value during math... (gives an error message) so you have to manually remember the value and use it in a future calculation - although it can be stored in non-volatile memory it still cannot be used except in time calculations (in general, their are some exceptions to the above rule but they are few and far between).
However it does not have an inbuilt clock. Rather puzzling as it would have been so useful for many (although I'd likely not use it a great deal myself).
It also is one of the old mid 90's Calculated Industries Models that was never refreshed. It looks rather old and clunky in the chunky armadillo case (but pretty indestructible).
Quirky but undeniably useful to some and crucial to others , because if you need it - you can't go elsewhere.
