I bought this as an alternative to a bivvy bag. It's simple and quick to put up. The mesh inner protects you from insects.
Perfect for wild camping and somewhere to just sleep for one person only.
Not suitable for spending much time in other than sleeping (just like a bivvy but better - more private and warmer).
Cons: Stuck on a camp site in wet weather for any length of time trying to live in this would be a nightmare! No use for festivals either where somewhere to chill and shade from the sun is needed.
Positives: Because it is low to the ground the wind doesn't catch it and the front door is a great mini awning if a spare rope is used to tie it open. Packs tiny to the size of a micro sleeping bag.
One tip is to place your foam sleeping mat under the tent to protect it from stony ground and make less clutter inside.
At £20 inc postage it's a steal.
