I'm currently doing IB Diploma Higher Level Mathematics and this book has proved to be the perfect companion for the course. All topics are explained simply (but with enough detail) with the aid of solved examples. The book goes straight to the point, and 'coaches' you to ace the exam rather than go off on tangents into unlreated and irrelevant details. Very concise, and recommended to anyone wishing to get the best mark possible.

I'm also doing IB Diploma Higher Level Mathematics, does this book have anything on polar co-ordinates, worked examples and question as well as some concise notes, would be good, does this book have any of them?

Yes, there is a chapter on polar co-ordinates, chapter 3 to be precise, 14 pages long. It includes "Position of a point", "Connection between polar and cartesian coordinates", "Sketching curves given in polar coordinates", Area of a sector of a curve" and "Equations of the tangents to a curve". There are worked examples and questions as throughout the book.
