This review is from: Celery! Representing Chelsea in the 1980s (Kindle Edition)
As sweet as it is that semi-literate fans of other clubs would take the time to review a book they have clearly never read, I would urge anybody reading the reviews of Celery! to ignore the cretin (a Manchester United fan) who gave it one star. This is a book about Chelsea, and is primarily for fans of Chelsea (although it will also appeal to general observers of 80s football, music, culture and fashion).
Quite simply, Kelvin Barker's book is generally accepted amongst the Chelsea faithful to be the definitive tome on the period. It is incredibly well researched, full of witty stories, and has the added bonus of including extensive interviews with guys like Kerry Dixon, Pat Nevin, Joey Jones, Mickey Thomas and David Speedie.
Like most of the other reviewers on this page, I would thoroughly recommend this book. You won't be sorry you bought it.
