What HAPPENED to the end???,
This review is from: Breaking Dawn: Twilight, Book 4 (Twilight Saga) (Hardcover)
I enjoyed the first three books of this series. I like Meyer's vampires and werewolves, and they compensate for Bella's annoying character (takes ages to realise simple things, is mysteriously able to control her own bloodlust etc). I expected an excellent action-packed ending to mirror, and indeed be an improvement upon, the gripping climax scenes of the previous books. However, it was not to be.
The baddies come. The goodies and baddies talk a lot. The baddies go.
This is an appalling mistake no experienced writer should ever make. I loved the new character brought into the final story, but nothing justifies being too lazy to make a saga's final (and usually finest) hour a few chapters' worth of chatting. The ultra-happy ending was mildly satisfying, but would've been so much better to read about had the characters earned the right to this happiness. An utter disappointment.

I absolutely agree with you! I finished this last night and I was thinking, after a LOT of chapters on vampire domestic life, we're gonna get an epic ending...
What a let down.
