1.0 out of 5 stars NOT TO BE USED WITH MACBOOK AIR DUE TO MAGNETIC CLOSURE, 3 Jan. 2013
This review is from: EasyAcc 13.3 inch Laptop Ultrabook PU Leather Sleeve Carry Case Cover for Apple Macbook Air 13, Acer Aspire S3, S5,Asus Zenbook UX31, HP spectre xt 13.3, Samsung SERIES 9 NP900X3B, Samsung SERIES 5 NP530, Toshiba Satellite Z830 Ultrabook (Size: 13.3 inch, Color: Coffee Brown) Size: 340 mm x 235 mm x 5 mm (Personal Computers)
Beware of the magnet fault and MacBook air.

NOT to be USED with MACBOOKS!

I bought this case for my 13" MacBook air. The sleeve has magnetic buttons for opening and closing which causes a damage (screen collapse) to the macbook when the laptop is close to it. the laptop completely shuts off. I would recommend to anyone who has spent lots of money on their macs NOT to get this, as the magnetic has been known to cause irreversible damage to the important components of the mac (which are all on the bottom of the laptop). You can do a quick google search to on macs and magnets. Just thought I would share this with you guys, as i know no one here wants to cause damage to their macbook.

I am a female, so how can this be a sexist comment?

I'm with you Yirrakurl. Gregoria doesn't like the use of the word 'guy'. But in 2013 in the UK the pejorative use of 'guy's as in 'you guys' can include a group of males and females. This post says more about Gregoria than it does about anything else I think.

Thanks for raising the point about the magnet.

Dear Customer,

Thanks for writing a review.

We apologize to bring you such kind of trouble. We understand that the magnet will affect your laptop, but we hope you understand that it is common when you use an electricity production in close to a magnet. So, we don't suggest you use your laptop on the bag.

Would you please email us at support@easyacc.com with your Amazon order number and the review link? We will try our best to help you out. Thanks.

Hope to hear back from you soon. Thank you for your cooperation on this matter.

Best regards.
