Everything has a beggining Neo...,
This review is from: Nature's Numbers: Discovering Order and Pattern in the Universe (SCIENCE MASTERS) (Paperback)
This is a must read, it should have been bigger!! Its not hard because its facinating (imho) its not a light overview because its real and not just theoritcal. Thomson's Growth and Forms is an excellant adjuct to this book. It may not be all true though I don't know how updated the latter editions are with modern corrections, its been a few books since I last read it.
Often the Quantum physics guru's go on a bit and really they don't know or can prove as much as they will freely admit - String theory Mtheory etc...they have an idea of the universe and thats what gets published.
Read Martin Rees "just six numbers" and you will understand what I mean.
If we find the Higgs boson...now that will move things on a bit.
