Forget your Van Goth and Piccaaso. Forget your Bach and Beethoven. Forget Lady Gaga and Amy Whitehouse. Forget Tracy...Oh you get the idea. The point is if you want your fill of cutting edge artistic excellence, look no further. That and a bloody great laugh.
The Hotpots have been tickling our funny bones for some time now and have produced some modern classics. This latest outing is another strong collection and die-hard fans won't be disappointed. Anyone coming to them fresh will soon be scrambling for their back catalogue.
It's hard to pick a favourite from such a set, but for me it's "Lucy Meacock". This has echoes of two of their greatest: "The Girl from Bargain Booze" and "Shopmobility Scooter" and is very John Shuttleworthesque. It manages to put to music, the thoughts of every red-blooded male in the North West.
So what are you waiting for? Mek a brew, put your feet up and get some Hotpots on.
