Great film, appalling transfer to DVD,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: M [DVD] (DVD)
I recently bought this 'Redemption' DVD issue of Fritz Lang's 'M'. The film is one of all time greats of early cinema. The problem with this DVD issue is the transfer. The transfer quality is very poor and inconsistent and worst of all the white substitles are virtually unreadable for great sections of the film, being seen (or not, being more to the point) on a white background! Invest a little more and get better quality.

Mr. Marc Lang says:
Yeh, sad to say Redemption's days are over as a film/dvd company. You must have bought a very old issue of this film I have the MOC dvd which I bought when MOC released it. If you love this film I suggest you upgrade to an MOC copy, or if you have a blu ray player, why dont you push the boat out. Because believe you, me. On Bluray It is more stunning than Helen Forrest! It is so good it will make you "Sing, Sing, Sing". When I bought it, I had to "Stomp at the Savoy"
