Heading for the mainstream?,

Another quality release from Juliana Hatfield...
Having been a fan for more years than I care to admit, it's always intriguing to see what she sounds like this time - solo acoustic? Band grunge? Solo electric?
Well, I certainly didn't expect this! The album kicks off sounding like it's going to turn into a country album - no, seriously, I'm not joking. Ultimately, it doesn't, but what you do get from this album is some of the most polished and mainstream work that JH has released since the near-chart bothering days of The Juliana Hatfield Three. Some great vocals married to some top tunes - who could ask for anything more?
That said, this is still distinctively Juliana, and a joy to listen to.
