This review is from: Folk Socks: The History and Techniques of Handknitted Footwear (Paperback)
The pattens are everything you would expect from Nancy Bush - interesting and varied, BUT this book is very poorly presented. The paper is thin; you can see images coming through from the other side of a page, the card covers are extremely flimsy, and the photos, though large and in colour, do not always let you get a clear look at all parts of the sock. It is not a book that will withstand much usage, which is ridiculous for a pattern book.
I felt disappointed and also rather cheated; it's an expensive book, but the production quality is inferior to that of a school magazine.
