This review is from: Ashes & Fire (Audio CD)Ryan Adams makes too much albums, I can't keep up. And they're not all very good. Well: 'Heartbreaker', 'Gold' and 'Love is Hell' are (and maybe one or two more). But when someone has a high productivity of mediocre albums then I kinda stop following that artist.
But then I heard 'Lucky Now' and thought: wow, that's a beautiful song, that's 'classic' Ryan Adams. So I listened to the album 'Ashes & Fire' and instantly fell in love. It's relatively quiet peaceful album but there's a lot going on in the songs. It has a constant feel: a constant flow of very tasteful and beautiful songs. And when it's over you want to play it again. So I bought it and am very pleased with my purchase since.
