I just bought this product and, unfortunately, it has some significant problems that undermine its performance. These problems arise when scart cables are plugged into both sockets, affecting video output and sound volume.
For instance, I have an XBOX 360 and a Freeview box. When both are plugged in:
No sound comes from the Freeview box.
The XBOX 360 video output is compressed into letterbox format.
Therefore, I must unplug the 'other' scart cable in order for the desired one to work properly. Not good enough.

Mr Hitchings, having upgraded my DVD player I have now run into EXACTLY the problem as you - when the DVD plaer is on standby I get little to no sound from my Sky box. I was just wondering if you'd found a similar product that rectified the issue for you.

I have the same problem with my 3 into 1 SCART adapter which only has DVD and Freeview going in, but I can hardly hear the DVD so must unplug the Freeview plug. Anyone knowing how to overcome this please tell me at Julianvet123@Gmail.com
