2.0 out of 5 stars Good book; great pictures; but very poor quality cards, 3 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Steampunk Tarot (Cards)
I could find this a really usable tarot pack. The pictures are great, and I found reading them very natural. Unfortunately, given the flimsy nature of the cards, I'm scared to use them. One good shuffle and I very much fear the whole pack will be ruined.

The accompanying book is very good.

All in all, not really worth the price. Yes, the cards look great; yes, they would work very well. Yes, the book is clear and informative. But the cards themselves aren't strong enough to use. I dread to think how easily they will be damaged.

Very disappointing.

I totally agree. I saw them in a shop and loved the artwork but was completely put off buying them because the cards themselves were cheap and nasty. Such a shame. If this deck is ever printed on decent cards I would definitely buy it

I find they're okay for personal use, but I'd never use them to do a reading for someone else, because of how fragile the cards are. They're too thin for a decent shuffle. You have to be very careful with them. The artwork is brilliant, though. It's such a shame. I wish there was a way to get them on decent card.
