This review is from: Wahoo Blue SC Cycling Speed and Cadence Sensor for iPhone and Android (Sports)
I generally love Wahoo products and own a RFLKT and various Ant+ accessories. Unfortunately the BlueSC was a big let down due to the very fragile speed sensor arm. It also requires tools to fit as it has only a silicon band with a magnet for the cranks which needed packing out to fit on my bike as it was too big and the pedal must be removed to slide it on.
In terms of the arm, the manual warns the hex bolt may need loosened and this was done - the arm then has a few positions it will click into. It seems that the welds on the plastic are not very strong though and as it was adjusted the arm welds split. This is a really poor design and far too fragile for bike use where the arm may get hit by road debris or twigs caught in the wheel. I've included a picture on the product page showing this flaw.
I've since replaced it with the Topeak Panobike which I think is a much better product.
