Disappointing and out of date,
This review is from: Free Lunch: Easily Digestible Economics (Paperback)
I must admit that I didn't get past Chapter 4. The author clings to an idea of the book as a meal with individual courses which limps along at best and irritates in the extreme at worst. The averagely intelligent person with an average understanding of the world in general will find that the explanations and examples are laboured and drag on. However, if you need to be told "Micro is small, macro is big." or that the market for houses is different to the market for potatoes, then this is the book for you.
Also, too much has happened to the economies of the world since this book was published. Tacking on an extra short chapter is not the same as updating the text.
