This review is from: Tape measure, Anatomical shape for body measurement (Personal Care)
This is going to come in very handy as I can now take all my own measurements consistently. The tape measure seems very well made and easy to handle etc. I am a bit confused by the print on the tape itself - on 1 side it has a "male" symbol, on the other "female" and the start position/0 is in a different place - I am female but can't use the "female" side of the tape because it's on the inside...and I can't really work out what the difference would be - surely an inch is an inch whether you're a man or a woman (or maybe not!)

No. Both sides have both cm and inches. The "male" side tape starts at 2 inches (just under 5 cm). I'm confused about the reason for this difference too.
