A more balanced Cathedral view?,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Of Time and the City [DVD] (DVD)
I particulary enjoyed watching the Terence Davies "Off Time and the City" film as it rekindled memories of my childhood of the City in which I was born in 1929, even though I did leave the City on my 21st birthday, not from choice, but from the need to find employment..
Many of the scenes I well recall.
I thought the choice of music was first class, especially the inclusion of Gustav Mahler's "Resurrection".
I do feel that the film would have been better balanced had the two City Cathedrals had been included. not from any religious views, but rather the Anglian Cathedral had been in existance throughout the life of the film.
I have watched this film several times now, which is more than I normally watch other films.
Thank you Terence Davies for the film.
