Works fine, but Powerline adapters work much better,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)

I could have bought a pair of good quality TP-Link 500Mbps Powerline adapters for less than this WiFi dongle and that gives a much more reliable connection at a higher speed so I don't use this dongle any more. If your TV has an Ethernet port, use Powerline and don't waste your money on this item.

Maybe the author should consider that not all users are able to get connectivity from the router to the mains supply, as is the case with us living on a residential park and not able to have telephone wires connected to our units.
Powerline units are fine, we have a number of Solwise plugs at our permanent home and I am very pleased with them.Sadly, this solution had to be discarded when we purchased our holiday home. This adapter is proving to be ideal for us - not quite the waste of money himself suggests!
